About
Hi, I'm Jerusha. I'm not an industry insider. I don't have VIP access. I'm not connected to crypto royalty.
Here's what I am:
A woman who's been into Bitcoin since 2017.
A former Virtual Assistant and ESL teacher who tried coding bootcamps three times and hated every second.
A nerd that loves tech and dreams of building a hopeful future—but is much better at cooking and art then she is at coding.
But I kept going. And here's what I learned: You don't need permission. You don't need connections. You just need courage—and it's easier to practice that when you're not alone.
If I hadn't taken the leap to try something new, I wouldn't have learned about Bitcoin before it became the global wealth phenomenon that it is today. I'm so thankful I was in the room!
So now? I bring other Black women with me.
Not to just to "network." Not just to strategize our next project. But to practice being in rooms we're not usually in. To ask questions. To talk to strangers. To huddle at the end of the day and process it all together.
We take "girls trips" that happen in male-dominated industries (but at least you got your crew with you).
And WE got this.
By the end of the trip, you're braver. You're more confident. And you know you can walk into ANY room with grace and ease.
That's Balance Muse.

I started going to Bitcoin meetups and tech conferences alone (even though I was nervous).
I didn't know anyone.
I felt really stupid.
I certainly didn't feel like I belonged.
